Sheesh, you gave us a real scare, dad.
Let's not do that again.
It's been a hard yet sweet year--
Every interaction with deep intention;
from teary wedding toasts
to sober news,
to intense conversations
of love, regret and lessons learned
and unnecessary jokes that were totally necessary.
You're a great dad.
I'm so thankful I've still got you here with me.
Happy EARLY fathers day. Apparently, I'm ahead of the game this year :)
